Dr. Nilesh R. Thaokar (M.Sc., Ph.D.) is working as Head and Assistant Professor of the Department of Zoology, Gramgeeta Mahavidyalaya, Chimur, Dist. Chandrapur (MS). He has fifteen years of teaching experience in the subject Zoology at the UG and PG levels. He has published more than 20 research articles in National and International Journals, published two books. Also involved in organising various conferences, workshop. He has completed the “Western Ghats Portal- WGP” project in collaboration with the French Institute of Pondicherry.
