He is an Assistant Professor and is presently serving as the Head, Department of Botany. He is also serving as an editor of the journal The Researcher. He has two Indian patents and one book to his credit. He is a life member of the Indian Botanical Society and has actively contributed to academic and institutional activities, including educational programs conducted by Gramgeeta Mahavidyalaya. His areas of academic interest include Plant Tissue Culture, Secondary Metabolite Production, Molecular Biology and Plant Biotechnology.
