Gramgeeta Mahavidyalaya, Chimur Celebrated Birth Anniversary of Lokshahir, Annabhau Sathe as “Lekhan Prerana Din” on dated 1st Aug.2026 in the Seminar Hall of the college. The president of the program was Dr. Sunanda Asawale, Principal and the Chief Guest was Dr. Bijankumar Shil. The bignining of the the program was initiated by floral garlands to the emage of Lokshahir, Annabhau Sathe through Dr. Sunanda Aswale . All the guests were present on the dias. Dr. Sunanda Aswale and Dr. Bijankumar Shil expressed their views on biography of Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe for the significance of writing about the literature of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and all the social reformers at that time of caste discrimination period. The whole program was jointly organised by the Student Welfare Department and Library Department as well. The program Hosted by Mr. Sandip Meshram, Librarian and vote of thanks conducted by Dr. Sumedh Waware, Convener, Student Welfare Department. For the successful of this program all the teaching and non-teaching staff as well as huge number of students were present in the seminar hall.
